Due to work commitments has not played every year. Early in 2011 he helped develop the younger second team players, but his performances and fitness won him a recall to the first team. When Cameron does play he is a huge asset to the Newtonmore team. A strong physical presence and on his day one of the best defenders or midfielders in shinty.
