Son of Angus Macrae captain of
the Camanachd Cup winning team of 1979 Danny is a big,
strong and extremely skilful player who is able to play
in almost any position. He has represented Scotland in
shinty/hurling internationals captaining the under 21s
in 2005 when he won the man of the match award. Scored the winning goal in the League deciders in both 2010 and 2011 as well as the winning goal in extra time in the 2011 Camanachd Cup victory. Lives
in Newtonmore with his wife and daughter Gillian. |
