Son of Newtonmore manager 'Brick' Macarthur Paul has come through all the different levels of shinty playing in the under 17 north v south and captained the winning Sutherland Cup Team. Was captain of the 1sts in 2006 a year in which the team dominated nearly all the games, but could not score with sufficient regularity.
